danielaruah-fans.com is doing such a fun and creative fan project by making a project book for both Daniela and Eric who will be attending this year’s MCM Comic Con in London and Hanover.

This is what she says you can do to participate:

As you might have heard, Daniela and Eric will be attending MCM Comic Con both in Hannover and in London (again!), later this month.

Because the majority of the fans won´t be able to attend either events (and because this is indeed a wonderful fandom), some of the fans who are able to attend very generously thought of making it possible for all of you to still send your own message to both actors.
We were asked to spread the word and let you know how to participate in these two fan projects, consisting of hand-made fan books, one for Daniela and one for Eric.

Just read the rules for both projects and start participating! to read more check out the rest of the info HERE

NCIS: Los Angeles star Daniela Ruah is going to have a busy couple of months. She’s pregnant with her second child and her character, Kensi, is going to go through some major changes. She sat down for an interview at Comic-Con this summer to talk about how the show shot around her pregnancy and the “drastic” change that’ll happen to the NCIS team.

What’s in store for your character this season?

Daniela Ruah (DR): A lot is in store for this character. My pregnancy has brought on reasons to hide the pregnancy which has inspired a very particular story line for the season, at least the first half, but that’s all I know. Something very drastic happens to the whole team and Kensi’s affected by that a little more and that poses obstacles and a big long trajectory of for Kensi and Deeks (series star, Eric Christian Olsen). And also there is a proposal.

You guys spent eight days filming extra scenes with you and Eric Christian Olsen, was that to cover for maternity leave?

DR: Basically, yeah. When you guys watch the show on TV you won’t notice my absence even though I’ll be gone for a number of week’s pre-and post-baby. So, this whole first eight days of shooting has been spent doing all of my scenes from episode three to episode 10 or nine or whatever it is, so it’s that whole arc. And it’s not just Deeks, there a few other characters that we know and love who are involved in that too. But they basically had to get all of my stuff out of the way and in post-production they’ll edit it all together as if I’m not gone, which is really cool and I’m happy about that. I’m very happy to see how it’s gonna work out.

But it’s interesting to shoot your storyline in chronological order because we never do that. One day we’re at this location and you might be shooting something at the beginning of the episode and then the next day you’re in the bullpen doing something different, so to do it this way is really cool. We did it as well for my first pregnancy and it worked.

Is it difficult to do that because you’re so used to a certain way of shooting?

DR: No, it’s actually easier because what Kensi and Deeks have to go through is not an easy thing to play and so to not have to break that up in different episodes makes it easier. It’s much easier to play it every single day because you’re in the mindset, you’re there and it’s easier to keep your mind and energy where it’s supposed to be because it’s all done in a row versus breaking up until were laughing and we’re bantering and all the sudden we need to be in this very deep tragic place.

How is it filming while pregnant?

DR: Fine. I feel like people are more cautious with me than I am. They’re like, “No, we’ll get you that water.” And I’m like, “I’m fully capable of grabbing my own water but I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. I got this.” I don’t know. I’m not an actor that likes to have people at your ever beck and call unless I can’t leave the set because of whatever. At most, I’ll be like, “Can I get a PB&J because I’m really hungry right now and I can’t leave the set.”

So, I think I might be asking for more snacks than usual but I think people are being more careful with me that I’m being careful with me.

I try and stay fit and active and healthy for as long as I can. I don’t like to be sedentary and sitting down, like, “Oh, I’m pregnant. I can’t do anything.” No, no, no, no I’m fine.

How are you keeping healthy?

DR: I work out as much is my schedule permits me to. Obviously, have a toddler son I’m chasing him around and he’s pretty active but we have a really healthy household to be honest with you, not to say I don’t have snacks. I love chocolate, so I’m not extreme or anything like that. We try to eat as many greens as possible and we work out as much as we can. We host a work out at our house every Sunday that my husband kind of leads. We just went on Craigslist and bought a bunch of old gym machines and in our backyard we’ve made ourselves a little makeshift gym and we can have up to 10 friends and family members there. A lot of us have toddlers and are pregnant, so it’s really fun and it’s a great bonding experience.

NCIS: Los Angeles star Daniela Ruah and David Olsen welcomed their second child, daughter Sierra Esther Ruah Olsen, on Sunday, Sept. 4, she announced Wednesday on Instagram.

“Apparently she thought Labor Day weekend meant LABOR day weekend… Look who showed up three weeks early! On Sept. 4th we welcomed little Miss Sierra Esther Ruah Olsen,” the actress captioned a family photo.

“She entered the world in her own way — breeched! I was a good candidate to deliver her naturally so I needed to find a doctor in L.A. who would know how to do it. Fortunately I found one of the few… Healthy & happy mommy & baby walked out of the hospital 24hrs later. I had an OB and doula assisted birth at Cedars-Sinai, and the #love and #support of my wonderful #hubby This photo is the perfect representation of everything I’ve ever wanted.”

Sierra weighed in at 7 lbs. and measures 20.8 inches long, her rep tells PEOPLE.

Ruah — who broke her pregnancy news on the social media app in April — and Olsen also share son River Isaac, 2½.

The happy parents met on the set of NCIS: Los Angeles, on which the 32-year-old plays Special Agent Kensi Blye. Olsen, a former Navy SEAL, has acted as his younger brother Eric Christian Olsen‘s stunt double in the past. Eric’s own wife, Sarah Wright Olsen, also gave birth to a baby girl this summer. The couple welcomed Esmé Olivia on Aug. 9.

Ruah’s pregnancy comes after heartbreak: she experienced a miscarriage last October at nine weeks along.

“Something like that hits you physically, emotionally and psychologically, but my doctor said, ‘Even if you sat on my table the whole time, this still would’ve happened. You have to try again,’ ” Ruah told Fit Pregnancy and Baby for the magazine’s September cover story.

That “second try,” was when the pair conceived their little girl.

She said, “Nature is a beautiful thing — it does what it needs to do when it needs to do it.”

It was a very pregnant NCIS: LA star Daniela Ruah (see photo below), who showed up at the CBS party for the Television Critics Association press junket. So much so, that Parade.com had to ask if the actress, who plays Kensi Blye, was taking time off the series for maternity leave.

It wouldn’t be the first time that the hit CBS show has had to adjust shooting to accommodate her. Back in 2013, Kensi and her partner Deeks’ (Eric Christian Olsen) were separated and she was shipped off to Afghanistan, where she wore bulky clothes in order to hide Ruah’s first pregnancy. She gave birth to a son, River, on December 30, 2013. Dad is David Paul Olsen, Eric’s brother.

The answer is yes, she will take maternity leave, but she won’t be off the show. Ruah says, “They’ve had to hide my pregnancies. I loved the Afghanistan storyline from Season 5, and this new storyline even trumps that, so I’m really excited for you to see what’s coming.”

Season 8 of NCIS: LA is going to have an explosive start. It begins with a mission that determines the sequence of events that follow for Kensi, in particular, and, obviously, as a consequence, for Deeks. The characters go through a very hard time. In previous storylines, they’ve overcome obstacles. This new story will test them further, and make them or break them.

“I know we’ve seen that kind of thing before but for me it never gets old,” Ruah says. “Our writers write great things. Every time a season starts, I’m excited.”

In the interview, Ruah talked in more detail about how the show is handling her pregnancy and how she deals with it as she awaits the birth of her daughter. Yes, it’s a girl.

Will Kensi be off the show?

Not that you will see. To me it’s a blessing. This whole first week of shooting, they set up starting with episode one as we usually would, but they held up the rest of the team and they had me and Deeks, and a couple of other characters, shoot all of my stuff for nine episodes, which will then be added in, in post production, so you won’t notice my absence from the show.

Was it harder to work this way?

No, it’s not and I will tell you why. When you have a story arc for nine, ten episodes and you are shooting the episodes in sequence, which never happens when you’re shooting a full episode, because you shoot per the location you are able to schedule. Things don’t happen in chronological order, so to have something happen in chronological order is actually very helpful when you’re playing a specific arc, so we had a tech advisor related to a specific situation, and I won’t tell you what that is, otherwise you will figure out what the story is. I wish I could tell you more, but I can say, there is a proposal.

Since you are pregnant, have they cut back on your action scenes?

No. They haven’t cut back. They just get someone else to do it for me, which drives me nuts. I do a lot of physical activity, but my inability to not do things stems more from people caring for me, more so than my lack of wanting to do it. I would probably still be doing everything if they would let me, but it’s good that they don’t because it is probably not safe for her.

Does being related to Eric make it more difficult to play the intimate scenes?

Not anymore. The first time we read that there was a kiss in the script, we were, “Okay, not sure either one of us would plan this,” but for one, these characters were bantering and flirting even before I met my husband, so it was something that was preexisting, and we knew there would be a development in that. Second, I think our writers are really, really good at not being gratuitous. Because they are not gratuitous, and Eric and I are very serious about playing our characters as seriously as possible, it doesn’t feel wrong in the moment because it feeds into the scene we are doing.

Then we have the amazing support from the fans who love the relationship between these two characters. I think if Eric and I would say, “We’re not doing these things because we’re related,” it would do a huge disservice to the show and to the fans. That’s what the main objective is: To have people stay engaged in the show and love the development of these characters.

Does being around someone as fit as LL Cool J inspire the rest of the cast to stay in shape? Because other than you’re baby bump, you don’t look as if you’ve gained any weight.

It does, but I have a very active household anyway. My husband is a former SEAL and he’s a stunt guy, as well as a business owner. He’s well-rounded. He’s a Renaissance man. My husband is very much about giving his body longevity, so while LL is a good influence, I have a good influence at home. Every Sunday we host a workout at our house, Eric and [his wife] Sarah [Wright] and Wyatt, my nephew, come along as well as a bunch of friends.

NCIS: LA premieres its eighth season in its new timeslot on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. But tonight, check out the rebroadcast of the Granger, O episode from Season 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Daniela talks Motherhood and things she learned to FitPregnancy:

FPB0916COVER1

NCIS: Los Angeles star Daniela Ruah, who’s expecting her second child this month, reveals the similarities between playing a top crime-fighter and being a mom. Which of her roles is more badass? From what we can tell, it’s a toss-up!

If you’re among the 8.6 million NCIS: Los Angeles viewers who tune in every week, you may have noticed that special agent Kensi Blye has been spending a lot less time this season taking down bad guys with her bare hands and a lot more time surveying scenes from her car. That’s because Daniela Ruah, the 32-year-old actress who plays Blye, is pregnant with her second child, and the writers chose not to include her growing belly in the story line. “When I was pregnant with my son [River, 2], they sent my character to Afghanistan, where I wore a burka and a bulletproof vest,” she says, laughing. “Luckily, my belly doesn’t seem to get big until the very end.”
Though there’s no mention of her expecting on-screen, behind the scenes, her castmates couldn’t be more excited for her. “I have an amazing support system at work,” says Ruah, adding that most of her costars have kids of their own. Chris O’Donnell has five, LL Cool J has four, and Eric Olsen has one and another on the way too. What’s more, some costars actually are family. Ruah is married to Olsen’s older brother, David, a former U.S. Navy Seal and stuntman on the show, which means she works all day with both her husband and brother-in-law. For Ruah, that’s not the only way her on-screen life and real one merge. All that she’s learned from playing a toughie on TV for eight years has helped her through motherhood in unexpected ways. Ruah takes a break from shooting to share her most helpful lessons.

Go on, despite setbacks

“Last October, I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks. Something like that hits you physically, emotionally, and psychologically, but my doctor said, ‘Even if you sat on my table the whole time, this still would’ve happened. You have to try again.’ So that’s what we did, and I got pregnant on our second try. Nature is a beautiful thing—it does what it needs to do when it needs to do it.”

Respect your partner

Or, at least, apologize when you need to. “You know when you’re being an idiot and you just can’t bring yourself to stop? During my first trimester, I became my own evil twin. I was awful to my husband. I’d receive his nice gestures as a war attack. One day I said to him—get this!—‘It’s not your face. It’s just everything you say.’ I feel super sorry for what he went through. But by the time I entered my second trimester, I was feeling much less hormonal.”

Improvise, improvise

“We work 12- to 14-hour days on set, and I’m used to it, but I was so super drowsy during the first trimester. It was like I was narcoleptic. Even if we had a 15-minute break for the crew to relight a scene, I’d lie down on a couch and go to sleep.”

Be ready for surprises

“David wanted to tell me whether we were having a boy or a girl this time, since I got to surprise him last time. So I went for the blood test, and a week later, he told me the doctor still hadn’t called. Then, one day, I was trying to put River down for a nap, and I handed him to Dave and said, ‘You try.’ Next thing I know, Dave and River are standing in front of me wearing pink dresses and wigs. My first thought was, ‘Why aren’t you putting him down? Now he’s going to be too excited to nap!’ Then I realized that they were telling me we were having a girl. I just sat and started crying, and Dave hugged me. I’d always hoped to have one of each.”

Have an open mind

“With River’s birth, nothing went according to plan. My water broke three weeks early, and after 12 hours of labor and Pitocin, I was in incredible pain and still only one-centimeter dilated. I wanted to try to do it without drugs, so the moment I requested an epidural, I was mad at myself. But as soon as I got it, I dilated to 10 centimeters in 90 minutes. It was awesome. This time, I’m going to try to go again without an epidural, but I won’t be mad at myself if I need one.

Holler for help

“After River was born, I remember being in the bedroom by myself, overwhelmed because he wasn’t latching well, and I yelled, ‘Dave, I need help! Can you get in here?’ Suddenly my husband, my mom, and my in-laws were all in the doorway. I just melted into tears. It really does take a village.”

Seize the moment

“I plan on breastfeeding like I did for River. On set, I fed him and pumped. One day, we were behind schedule, so I put a hoodie over my pump and went to rehearsal. There was that ‘wah-wah-wah’ sound, and everybody was like, ‘What is that?’ I said, ‘I’m pumping,’ and that was it. They were unfazed. You do what you have to do.”

Embrace your power

“I like being pregnant—feeling the baby moving, acknowledging the miracle that we’re capable of producing a whole other being from scratch. I feel more like a woman than ever before. There’s just an all-around sensation of power.”

Pregnant NCIS: Los Angeles star Daniela Ruah is dishing about the challenges that come with camouflaging her growing belly while filming.

“This is not easy to hide anymore,” Ruah tells ET. “I think the camera angles probably and wardrobe have been the biggest secret.”

Ruah and husband David Olsen are expecting their second child — a daughter — this year, but Ruah will still be in every episode of the CBS drama thanks to the craftiness of the crew.

“There’s one scene where she’s got a sniper rifle out and she’s supposed to be lying on her stomach,” says Ruah’s co-star and brother-in-law Eric Christian Olsen. “I looked around and I was like, ‘How are we doing to do this? She’s got a giant baby in her belly,’ and everyone kind of stares around like, ‘Should we dig a hole?’ So we are digging a hole in the desert, so she can lie and place her belly into this hole!”

Meanwhile, her baby bump is front and center on the cover of the latest issue of Fit Pregnancy magazine.

“I feel incredible,” Ruah shares.

But Ruah and her husband aren’t the only ones excited for their new arrival. The couple’s 2-year-old son, River, can’t wait to be a big brother. Ruah told us that River kisses her belly “all the time” and talks to his unborn sister.

“He puts on a baby voice and says, ‘You want to come out? You want to come out?’ and I’m like, ‘She’ll be here soon!'”
